This anthology of American and Bulgarian short horror stories all feature two things: ghosts and a cigarettes, always inventively combined. Some are straightforward horror, like Deadly Muse, or spooky, like Virtually Invincible, but others are touching, like A Story About Stavry and Prokopy and the Smoking Ghost (which appeals to dog lovers). All the stories are firmly rooted in each author’s country and traditions, with illustrations to highlight the tales and the clear but often overlooked link between — what else — ghosts and cigarettes.
